Vacation rental (50m2), located at the summit of the fortified village of Faucon
(6kms from Vaison-la-Romaine), offering a magnificent view over the villages of Puyméras
and Mirabel, and the vineyards and olive trees in the neighbourhood of the village.
The accommodation in no-smoking.

Accommodation: 2 persons.
Ground floor: Fully equipped living room/kitchen (gas cooker with 4 burners, oven, refrigerator, kitchen appliances and utensils, dishes....) which also contains a knight's bed with mattress (size 0.70 x 3.80m). High ceiling. |

1st floor: Large bedroom (with bed size 1.80 x 1.90m), wardrobe with drawers, bedside tables, toilet, shower (0.80 x 0.80m) and wash basin.
You will reside in one of the oldest stone-built houses of the village, completely renovated in 2002, with lime finished interior walls and with Mediterranean tiling. |

| Places to visit/things to do: First relax a little and contemplate the vineyards, olive and apricot trees growing close to the house, discover the other villages in the neighbourhood, listen to the sound of the campaniles, look at the stars which seem so close, follow the traces of Roman or local history, try to find a fossil, pick wild lavender, thyme or rosemary, take a rest at the shelter of Faucon's ancient wash house, chat with Philippe who, as usual, is carving wood, breathe in a thousand and one scents, have a swim in a refreshingly invigorating river (8km), play tennis, go for hikes, do some bicycle-riding... And if you feel like being with more people visit Vaison-la-Romaine, Carpentras, Orange or Avignon or else discover Mont Ventoux (1912 metres) which offers excellent walks and has a great wealth of wild life, or a bit further South, the Mediterranean Sea.... Within reach also are the attractive towns of Arles and Nîmes both rich in Roman history and, of course, in the same area the incredible Pont du Gard. Vaison, Orange, Arles and Nîmes all have Roman theatres which, in season, are used for open-air concerts – an experience not to be missed. |
