The town, established on the southern slope of a hill, is the archetypical medieval village with a castle at the top of a promontory, of which only a few ruins remain, the ancient priory of Saint Martin (twelfth to fifteenth centuries) which became the parish church and its fertile land between the Berre and Vence rivers.
To see: The tiny roads and passageways of the village. The House of the Tower (with temporary exhibits).
