RÉAUVILLE

The ancient estate of Cersas was named Réauville in 1280, when the Abbey of Aiguebelle was put under the protection of the Count of Provence, Charles of Anjou, brother of Saint Louis.
The village has some remains of the original settlement around the castle and numerous architectural elements associated with innovations of the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries.

To see: The painted interior of the parish church of Saint Mary Magdelen (nineteenth century)
The site of sand pits recently rennovated (with marine fossils).
