The village, at the foot of the Lance mountain, dates back 6,000 years. The site has traces of the first commercial exchanges amongst Celts and Greeks around 600 B.C..
A visit to the village leads from the chapel of Saint Ann (twelfth century) to the castle and remains of the medieval town and to the church of Saint Marcel and Saint Menne built in the eighteenth century.
