A priory of the Cluny style probably accounts for the shape of the village of Colonzelle and the church of Saint Peter (with friends?) built in the beginning of the twelfth century.
The chapel of Saint Mary was destroyed but one can still see the ruins of the medieval walls of the village.
To see: The frescoes recently discovered in the church of Saint Peter (fourteenth century).
Several oratories built in the nineteenth century
The hamlet of Margerie, founded at the end of the fifteenth century.
